Trinity Barnhill | MSW

Counseling Intern

  • Trinity has joined SBC as a counseling intern with an eagerness to learn about biblical counseling. She is particularly interested in counseling children and adolescents and giving them a safe and warm counseling environment. Trinity received her Bachelor's in Psychology from LA Tech and her Master's in Social Work from LSU. She worked with the Natchitoches Judicial Drug Court as well as Longleaf Inpatient Hospital in the adult and adolescent psychiatric inpatient units. While Trinity learned much from her experience with secular therapy, it left her with a deep desire to counsel according to the hope found in Christ.

Trinity is currently pursuing training through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC) and is eager to contribute and grow as part of the team at SBC. Trinity currently lives in her hometown of Alexandria, LA with her husband Drake, a pastor, and her two cats. Besides spending time with them, she also enjoys reading and cooking.
